Wednesday November 5 11:30am : Maintenance

On Wednesday November 5 2025, beginning near noon, crews will be working to move mainline cables near the intersection of CR 94 and Hwy 15 in the Ingomar Area. Some subscribers on CR 90 and CR 91 will also be affected. PEPA has relocated an electric pole line and the mainline fiber also has to be moved. Crews will do advance prep work to minimize the interruption.

UPSTREAM ROUTING ISSUES Resolved : 9:05pm

One of our upstream DIA providers that services the east side of our system experienced a loss of routes inside their facility. This caused subsets of our subscribers to to lose access to some of the internet. The routing issue has been resolved by the upstream provider and traffic is flowing normally. Our NOC and engineers are monitoring the network actively. Thanks for your patience and thanks for using NESPARC.

UPSTREAM ROUTING ISSUES Investigating : 8:23pm

We are experiencing upstream routing issues into one of our major DIA providers. This is causing intermittent interruptions or some parts of the internet to be inaccessible. Automatic failover processes are not triggered since circuits are still up. Engineers are investigating.

Emergency Maintenance In Progress : 6:03pm

Due to a major core routing issue with one of our upstream providers, NESPARC is performing emergency maintenance to ensure subscribers continue to have the best service possible. During the maintenance, we will move some connections in one of our core routers.

This will cause a brief blip in services while the new link becomes active.. Service interruption should not last more that 3-5 seconds.

[Resolved] Ingomar Substation Issues

Substation Issue Restoration Complete 8:33 pm

Upon investigation, it was found that a dumptruck left the construction area with the dump bed raised and became entangled in the our fiber and other comms. A main trunk line was ripped down. Crews were able to pull new cable three spans and re-splice the 144ct cable to restore services. Thanks for your patience during the outage.

Substation Issue Investigating

At around 3pm today Operations observed anomalies with the Ingomar Substation throwing alarms. Subscribers may be experiencing disruptions in service. Engineers are investigating the cause of the issue currently and more information will be posted here when available.

NE Fiber crews will replace a section of fiber at the west end of CR 101 in Ingomar this morning beginning around 8:30 am. Subscribers west of 1109 CR 101 and all subscribers on CR 100 in Ingomar will be affected. Services will be impacted for approx. 2 hours or less while crews splice in the new cable. Tuesday Jan 9 2024 // MIDNIGHT: Network Upgrades

On Tuesday Jan. 9th 2024, starting at MIDNIGHT (01-10-2024 00:00:00) NESPARC will perform upgrades to core routers in the Enterprise substation.

Susbscribers should fail over to backup circuits, but there is the possibility that short interruptions will occur in the areas serviced on these core routers (Enterprise, Martintown, Ingomar, Cornersville and Waterford) as the updates are applied and routers are restarted.

The maintenance is expected to require 1-2 hours to complete.

PLANNED OUTAGE: notice

On Friday May 12, 2023 at 8:00am NESPARC will conduct a planned outage comply with MDOT requirements to relocate fiber at the intersection of HWY 15 and CR 101 in Ingomar.

This outage will affect subscribers on the Ingomar 214 Circuit in and around the following areas / roads: (map provided below)

CR 86 (South of address 1645)
CR 87
CR 88
CR 90
CR 96
CR 98
CR 99
CR 100
CR 101 (and adjacent streets / neighborhoods)
Other nearby areas fed from CR 101 and south

Crews have prepped cables and enclosures to minimize the downtime required for the cable replacement, and will work as quickly as possible to restore services. We expect full restoration to be complete within 2 to 3 hours, although most customers will have services restored in real time as splicing is completed.

Outage: Repair Underway

There was a major fiber cut earlier this morning in the area of Hwy 15 and Hwy 346 in Ecru, MS. Mainline that services Hwy 346 to the west of Hwy 15 was affected. Crews are onsite and splicing fiber now and customers should be coming up as fibers are splieced. More info here as it is available.

Enterprise transit to HQ - update 1:29pm: Monitoring

The damaged portion of fiber has been bypassed pending additional repairs. At this time, services should be restored to the affected circuits. If customers are continuing to have issues, please contact our Helpdesk at (833) 637-7272. Enterprise transit to HQ - update 11:35am: Investigating Testing from several locations, we have found some damage on the transit line connecting the Enterprise hut to Headquarters. Crews are en route to the area of damage to isolate the damage and begin repairs. Enterprise Circuit Down : Investigating We began receiving alerts around 10:45 am that various circuits were reporting offline, specifically the Enterprise, Waterford, Martintown, Cornersville, and Ingomar. We are currently investigating the issue and the cause.
