On Thursday March 16, 2023 NESPARC will perform scheduled maintenance on the circuit affecting the west half of Brittany Woods Subdivision in Oxford. Due to the new road construction, mainline underground fiber has to be relocated, and as a result will have to be cut and re-spliced.
Crews have already bored in new conduit and prepped the new fiber, and beginning around 8:30 am will disconnect the old fiber and begin spllicing in the new cable. This will interrupt all services for subscibers in that area until splicing is complete.
Crews will splice fibers in order and customers’ service will come back up accordingly.
We expect the time of disruption to be short, and will work as fast as possible to restore services.
