Lafayette Springs Outage

Wed Apr 1 2024 // 2:05pm: Repairs Complete

Mainline cable has been spliced and tested and subscribers’ services should be restored at this time. If you continue to have issues please call our Helpdesk.


Wed Apr 1 2024 // 8:45am: Repairs in Progress

Crews have prepped the cable and hung new 96ct fiber in the damaged area. Splicing prep has begun and two new splice points will need to be introduced in order to complete the repair. Subscribers will come up in groups as the fibers are spliced. There is no ETR at this time.


Wed Apr 1 2024 // 7:21am: Investigating

NESPARC located a mainline 96ct fiber cut on HWY 334. Crews are prepping for repair and awaiting the arrival of law enforcement to file a report. No ETR at this time.


Wed Apr 1 2024 // 4:00am: Investigating

NESPARC is aware of a large disruption affecting many subscribers on our Lafayette Springs 234 circuit, that services lots of the area south of HWY 6. We are seeing disruptions across this circuit in the areas of HWY 334 all the way to Paris MS near Hwy 9w. Engineers are working to isloate the issue, and we will post more info here when available.
